“We had a great time. Dave is an excellent tour guide, explaining all about the history of Blue Heron Lake and Golden Gate Park. We took the twilight tour in hopes of seeing a great horned owl. Although we didn't see one, it wasn't Dave's fault. Right next to the spot we went to, folks were playing volleyball and were making a lot of noise, which kept the owl in the tree we were at from coming out. But when we got back to the parking lot, we were thrilled when Dave heard a female great horned owl whoo'ing to her mate. He'd seen her before in that tree so…”
